Information for Ukrainian refugees and helpers


On this page we would like to give you an overview of the offers of the Volkshochschule, an Adult Education Center, the right contact persons and other important information.

German courses

We can currently offer you free language support courses for new immigrants in "German as a Foreign Language". These courses are for refugee adults and young people aged 16 and over who have no opportunity to take part in general integration courses. The focus of these courses is on oral communication. The aim is to provide simple language tools to deal with everyday situations.

Refugees from Ukraine will probably also have access to integration courses from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) in the future. The requirements for attending a (free) integration course have not yet been determined.
